I had good experiences with First American over many years until Nov 19 when I was charged a $100 fee on my checking account for something called a "debit advice". It's not even on the schedule of fees that First American lists. This is a first. I never experienced something like this with other banks. George
They will close your account for no apparent reason and lie about it

Recently I opened up some accounts at this bank with the teller Crystal . On the first time she gave my husband paperwork with my full social on it to bring home for me to sign . I did not consent to this . I was flabbergasted because that’s my personal information .
