I have only been with First Choice for a couple of weeks but I really enjoy working here. The staff are nice and they have been very accommodating with my school schedule, even when it’s on shorter notice than I would like. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a caregiving job. They also reimburse you for mileage.
Over the past three years, some of my mother’s caregivers have been through First Choice, with Wynter Seferian managing her care for much of that time. Wynter has been outstanding—professional, responsive, and genuinely dedicated. Because of her, we recently moved all of my mother’s remaining caregiving hours from another company to First Choice. She makes a real difference, and I hope management recognizes the value she brings. Highly recommend.
Managers and HR do not know how to talk to employees. Very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I was shocked by the way I was treated. Zero manners and zero etiquette. I wish I could mention the names of the individuals involved, but out of respect and professionalism, I will not. One was a senior case manager and the other worked in HR. I am an HCA I work for the company love to help people. A typical day I would clean go shopping. Take take clients to medical appointments remind them to take their medications, pick up medications. Prepare meals. Do laundry anything I can do to help them out.
FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO CARE AND ASSIST YOUR LOVED ONE. THE INCONSIST CAREGIVING IS RIDICULOUS. MY FAMILY HAS ONLY BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY A FEW MONTHS, SO FAR WEVE HAD 5-6 DIFFERENT CAREGIVERS, AND MULTIPLE CALL OUTS. WHAT DO YOU DO LAST MINUTE WHEN PEOPLE HAVE TO WORK AND DEPEND ON YOU FOR CAREGIVING FOR THEIR FAMILY MEMBER? YOU HAVE TO MISS WORK TO TAKE CARE OF THEM.
