The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was unbelievably caring & helpful. Even the administrators would bend over backwards to listen and help with any questions or concerns. Therapist and Case Managers were bar none of any I’ve ever experienced. I made lifelong friendships and an alumni group I felt I could lean on 24/7. An experience I will always cherish.
I transitioned out of prison and started my journey at First City Recovery Center, even though I was already sober. The experience has been life-changing. The staff—especially Jeff Lorazo, Amber, Savannah, and Taylor—go above and beyond. They truly care and treat you like family. I had an awesome experience at FCRC! THEY PROVIDE A LOT OF SUPPORT AND THEY BELIEVE IN YOU. The group classes are great, very welcoming and friendly staff, and AA,NA, AND EA meetings are great. Housing is top notch as well.
I have been involved in several different recovery centers in a few different states. I myself am in recovery. My impression of this place that the detox center is very well run, however, detox lasts a week. After that week, however, the recovery itinerary becomes very weak, very boring and is not very creative. The recovery houses are a mess.
