I was so blessed to be able to come across First City when I was looking for someplace to go for treatment. Everyone of the staff was welcoming, professional, and you could tell that they took a genuine interest in the overall wellbeing of everyone that was there. The staff loved me until I was able to love myself. It was a great program and it helped me restore my relationships with friends and family. I've made a whole new group that i can depend. Jeff Lazzaro is a big part of my recovery and the whole staff at First City, these people who work there really do care and will go out of there way too help. I'll always be grateful for First City and all the staff that helped me along the way!
I came to First City Recovery Center to get help with my bipolar, BPD and OCD. It has been the greatest experience of my life. The food, the accommodations and everything related to living there was amazing. My case manager, my therapist, the group facilitators, the techs and the chefs were beyond incredible. I highly recommend First City Recovery Center to anyone dealing with mental health issues and drug and alcohol addiction.
First City is incredible from the top down. Well organized group sessions, professional and friendly therapists, extremely helpful and resourceful case managers that care solely about your after care. The Techs truly care and want you only to be comfortable during the detox process. The facility is clean and very well taken care of. I truly believe that I have been set up for success in my recovery journey thanks to First City Recovery!!
I was only here for two weeks and left on my own, but this place did so much for me in that time and I’ll never be able to thank them enough. Is this place perfect? Far from it, a lot of tweaks they will need to make in time.
