First Steps Recovery is a super solid program! I am a program director of a local detox and residential treatment center a few cities over, Roseville Recovery, and had the pleasure of coming out to meet Nick Fogle and some of the other staff at First Steps. This place saved my life, they helped support me through a time where i had absolutely nothing. FSR truly cares about peoples sobriety. They have a dog named cooper, he is so sweet and so social with all of the people. The treatment was thorough and taught me more about my disease and how to cope with it in ways i never even thought. All the staff are truly outstanding. I recommend this place to everyone who is struggling with addiction and alcoholism.
Doing the program here as outpatient 5d/wk right now and learning so much! This is my 3rd time turning away from dependence, but the first time taking useful and positively constructive methods with me. Nothing but encouragement is what you can expect. Nearly all employees (case managers, therapists, managers etc) are in recovery and also have credentials of some kind. Attended their shingle springs residential facility and now doing iop through first steps. In both experiences I’ve found nothing but kind, knowledgeable counselors and outstanding care across the board. I’ve made friends that will last a lifetime. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to further their recovery!
From intake to discharge, my experience with residential treatment with First Steps Recovery (FSR) was outstanding. FSR changed my life at a time when I was in serious need of help.
