Avoid Flooring Connection for flooring! A manufacture gave them $750 in to pay the installer for his work on a defective floor and they KEPT IT. I have been trying to reach them on behalf of our installer since Oct 14' but they never get back with me. It is really disappointing to see how wrong people will act over $750. We went camping to be out of the way during the install. Installation was supposed to start Wed. and be done Sat. No show on Wed. They assured us that they could start Thurs. and still be done on time. We checked in on Sat. Not even close to done and no communication. Didn't hear from anyone, but the installer entered our home unannounced Monday. Unprofessional communication from the installer. Enough said. We had Flooring Connections install carpet, laminate, and vinyl in our home. The owner came out to do the bid and we moved forward with the job. We were told the laminate and vinyl would take 3 days to install. The installer came the day after the Memorial Day holiday and started the install. He prepared the floors and layed about 4 boards in our bedroom the first day. He returned the next day 2 1/2 hrs after the time he was to show up. Initial quote process and job planning went well, but that was it. Job was not done on time nor in the time specified. Jobs started late and did not complete on time. Job is still not complete two months after starting and Flooring Connections is not making any effort to fix the issue. Overall quality is very poor (tack boards exposed, trim broken and not fixed, uneven grout lines, unfinished dry wall). Overall this was my worst experience with a home contractor.
