This is such a garbage healthcare plan. The doctors are unprofessional & you will feel like you’re in a Medicaid office. I’m a teacher & having to pay for this subpar/limited/rude care is unacceptable. Good for their biggest client, Volusia County Schools, for dumping them & going to another insurance carrier altogether. We deserve better than this & so do you!!! Run from this terrible insurance company!!!
Fine if you have a minor issue. BEWARE if you need surgery or have a major issue.
Florida Health Care doctors don't listen to you or work with you. The doctor's dictate what medicine you will take, how you feel even though they are not you. Basically they have rookie doctors fresh out of medical school who were taught to obey the insurance companies, the government and thier own employer and not think for themselves.
Today was the absolute worse health care I ever experienced. I called to get a refill on my migraine medication with is also a seizure medication and was And was deny refills because I no longer have that insurance and cannot see the doctor. I told the doctors office I would pay cash for this visit one time so I could get my refill. This medication can not be stoped suddenly with out sudden health complications. I was told no.
