Went in for horrible UTI symptoms. Did their tests and they said negative. They then sent me home even though I was in pain and don’t feel good at all. They said wait a few days for culture to come back (it came back negative as well) I went to the hospital the next morning because I couldn’t wait days in pain. Autumn Oaks, NP is a wonderful nurse. She saw me today and was very thorough and compassionate, professional and caring. She explained everything and took her time so I understood. She is really a wonderful asset to FHCP and I am glad I got to see her.
The team members here are super nice. I went in today for a medication refill while waiting for an appointment with my primary care doctor. The staff was friendly, smiling, and very attentive. The doctor listened to my concerns and I felt very comfortable. She even tried to get me a sooner appointment with my primary by calling them. Everyones's experience varies but mine definitely was positive. Great staff and I was in and out in less than an hour. We absolutely love the urgent care team at FHCP Deland. Autumn Oakes is professional and excellent with kids! My 6 year old daughter needed stitches and Autumn talked her through every step of the process and helped put her at ease. They even gave her a little gift bag with stickers and a small plushie. Top notch service and care!
I have really enjoyed the service here. I have gone a few times myself for random injuries, and we have taken our kids here maybe 8 - 10 times. They even set a broken arm on my 5 year old until we could get to the orthopedic. It has been a good experience. The pharmacy in the same building as the quick care is handy too. Thank you!
