Doctor Szames is a fantastic doctor, I will see him anytime, I can not say that for the office staff and the one nurse. They are short on information when you ask questions for clarity and the nurse was even worse. so if you want good footcare you will get it from the doctor(s) but the staff the nurse do not have good customer service skills that is why they get 3 stars. by the way this is the location at 6002 east broad street.
I value my time and if I’m expected to be early, I expect to be seen on time or no later than 15 minutes after the appointment is supposed to start. I sat for an entire hour for the doctor to see me for 5 minutes & rushed me out.
My appointments have been nothing but hell because of the doctor. I explained my hardship ever since I got plantar fasciitis the doctor did not care and my last appointment basically blamed me when I can barely afford to live I have to ask my parents for medication co pay and he has an attitude because I didn’t get a foot sleeve I have done everything I possibly can for myself and having a doctor basically blame you for everything is not helpful. I have medical insurance but received a bill for full amount of office visit. Called 2.5 months after visit to see why they were not billing my insurance as I had made sure prior to visit they were covered, and turns out they had my insurance information incorrect. Mistakes happen, but they are refusing to rebill the correct insurance after only 2.5 months since service date and the reason is “aging account”. How is this even legal? I has surgery on my foot/bone infection. After two stays in the hospital and 7 weeks off work I was called the afternoon before a Doctor follow up and told I had a $300.00 pass due balance. The balance needed to be paid in full or my follow up would be canceled. Did not care if my Doctor requested the appointment to make sure the infection was gone.
