My son was a resident at Fort Hill for the past year. It was such a positive experience from beginning to end. Lydia Gallo made the application process so easy and pleasant, especially being that he was a younger resident. The apartments and building are updated and so well maintained. Joe, head of maintenance also couldn’t be more accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental property!
Nice apartments but don’t count on getting a good night sleep. It’s very noisy and we have an adjacent apartment that makes loud noises all night. We have discussed this with management but nothing changed. We feel the floor moving throughout the day, you can hear people walking in the halls, and doors slamming. We understand daytime noise, it’s communal living, but not sleeping a full night for months has been very difficult. Unfortunately it’s starting to affect my performance at my job. New Review: If you like heat, don't move here. In 2025, our HVAC has been out of service for 5 months, with six separate incidents. Most recently our A/C stopped working on 8/21, was repaired, broke again on 9/5, and then on 10/9 noxious fumes were released from our heat whenever it was turned on. The HVAC vendor believes there is a leak, and the problem still has yet to be corrected by GDC, and now it's mid-November. My family has rented an apartment at Fort Hill for the past three years, and it’s been an incredible experience. As a former West Point cadet, Fort Hill was the perfect escape—close to school, yet peaceful and secluded. It truly had everything we needed. What stood out even more than the location and amenities was the sense of community. The staff and neighbors were always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Fort Hill is a great place to live. The amenities are wonderful. Danielle is a fabulous property manager. She is very approachable and willing to help with whatever your problem big or small. The maintenance team is very attentive to the residents and the property. Samantha the social events coordinator is great. She puts on events for everyone to enjoy.
