I am/was a resident of this facility No cookie cutter residences. Each cottage is unique and stylish. The Apartments are all well-appointed and modernized with views and balconies. The campus is beautiful and serene. The food is delicious and accommodates all tastes. The residents are friendly with a Mayberry atmosphere. You can take part in a multitude of activities or none if you so desire.
I visited this facility Fredericka Manor was all right. It's an older building, a good view, and the food was served restaurant style. We discussed the rent. The lady walking with us was fine and spent time taking us everywhere. We saw a two-bedroom.
I visited this facility I visited the Fredericka Manor. The lady who took us around was just lovely. She was a very nice lady and just showed us everything. She had ultimate patience. I had a tour of the entire place. They have individual cottages and we went and toured several of those. They have them from studios up to two bedrooms. They have a variety to choose from. Then, I went into the big building and also toured the different floors and went up to the seventh floor, where you have a beautiful view, and then down to t... read more
I am/was a resident of this facility We are currently residents of Fredericka Manor. The facility is great. We have 24-hour nursing, and these people have been wonderful. My husband had a lot of falls, and they've been Johnny-on-the-spot. They do a lot of follow-up, and they're very caring. The meals here are good. The camaraderie is fantastic. They make a very friendly place. People are friendly. We've got a nice one-bedroom. I like it very much. I don't want to move. They have a little store and an art ... read more
I visited this facility We liked Fredericka Manor. They had a cottage that would have been perfect for us. I liked that they had four levels of care. We could start in a 1-bedroom cottage and eventually go to a studio. We could move around there based on the level of care that we need. I liked the walking areas. It was a gated community, and I had a feeling of being very safe there. The cottage we would like to move into was being completely refurbished at my choices of color, carpeting, and tiles. We noticed there were peop... read more
I visited this facility We went to Fredricka Manor, which is really very lovely, but you were just too distant from the center of activities. You are basically living in a house, and I'm not interested in living in a house anymore. I'm very happy to be in an apartment, in a community where people are close together. The facility is beautiful, but I just found the fact that if there is bad weather, which we have been having quite a bit of, you are isolated in your home. To go to the main building, you have to go out... read more
I am/was a resident of this facility Fredericka Manor has been magnificent. This is just a beautiful facility and we have a lot of input from the administration. We have meetings with them constantly. We have wonderful paths to walk on, we have an exercise program (which is important to me), and a discussion group. The staff is wonderful. Food is delicious. Various levels of care are available so you don't have to go to a new facility if you need more care. Our administration is on campus and his door is always open for... read more
I visited this facility I toured the facilities of Fredericka Manor and they were very nice. I went to tour their independent living and Kerry was very nice, informative, and helpful. The rooms were very nice, reasonably priced, and some of them even had nice views. They were more like apartments. The dining hall was also very nice. There were lots of amenities but I mainly saw the dining hall and the library. I didn't have a meal, but the dining hall looked great and the meals I saw looked really good.
I visited this facility I did a tour of Fredericka Manor. It looks wonderful, but I just didn't feel that it was for me at that time. I don't know why. They have everything for everybody, from medical care up to people that can live on their own. They showed me different places. The staff was great. There were several different kinds of rooms, they were great. It has different levels. They have both apartments and studios. They did have a bus to take people to different places like theaters, and just different plac... read more
