My husband and I are new patients to Dr Johnson’s office and first impressions are that he is great! Very responsive to emails and throughly answers questions. Great bed side manner and never felt rushed in our appointment. He truly gave off the feelings of wanting to get to know us and cares about our health in all regards. I highly recommend him!!!

Our family has had a wonderful experience with FRDPC! Dr. Johnson is thorough in his work, listens to our concerns, and is considerate towards each member of our family. Our kids look forward to seeing him, and he takes time to explain himself to me and my spouse. We highly recommend his practice!
Dr. Johnson is a "direct source" physician - thus you deal directly with him, no nurse and no large organization's hoops you have to jump through (Sentara or UVA). It is easy to get an appointment and he spends as much time as needed with you. Attentive physician and the cost is minimal per month when you compare to the high deductibles on many health insurance plans. Highly recommend. Direct access can also provide discounts on other needed procedures (labs, etc.)
Dr. Johnson is everything our family was looking for in a primary care doctor; he is patient, responsive, thorough, personable, and insightful. As members of the Free Range DPC, we feel heard and included in our healthcare. We are so grateful to have found this practice!
