I needed to have my chimney cleaned and inspected, and also wanted to put a cap on the top and add liners for my wood stove and furnace. I called a few chimney companies, and got estimates. The first estimate I got was extremely high, because the technicians claimed that they needed to take my chimney down to the roof line and rebuild it. The chimney on my house needs some repair work. I contacted total 6 companies for estimates. Two companies postponed the appointment date again and again, until they stopped answering. my phone calls. Two companies' men did not want to go up to take a closer look. They gave me the estimates by looking at my pictures. Only two companies had someone up the roof. So, I only take those two estimates seriously, including the one from Freitas. Roberto is a professional and personable contractor who does quality work. He thoroughly explains what needs to be done to achieve the best and correct results for a job and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are pleased. Roberto was true to his word in every respect and he did a first rate job replacing our 40 yr old chimney. He showed up when he said and cleaned up the area every day while keeping our new roof solar panels protected despite being just feet away from the chimney.
