TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Stopped for lunch. the staff was friendly and polite. Very clean. I Ordered cauliflower and cheesy fries. the cauliflower was amazing. The cheesy fries would have been good if there was more than 1/2 tsp of cheese in the middle. we waited just over 20 minutes for our to go food. there were only three tables being used, and all were enjoying their food. We ate going to give it another try.
the foood is soooo good and my big bought me freeeeee chicken. i love the place so much and the service was amazing and the vibes were good.

This place I went to on a whim although I've been wanting to try it I wasn't going out of of my way but yesterday after coming back from out of town the opportunity presented itself so I definitely took advantage. Dave's hot chicken is on Archer rd next to chilis inside the building where BurgerFi used to be and when I arrived it's set up exactly how burgerfi used to be with the seating in the middle and drink machine off to the side and ordering towards the back of the building (if your coming from the front entrance). Dave's Hot Chicken is probably the most delicious chicken fast food establishment in Gainesville. I've been plenty of times, but decided to leave a review this time due to the excellent service. Friendly and quick, and the food was great. The Dave's bites are a fantastic option for someone who wants to spend a little less, but still have some great spicy chicken. They even gave me extra nuggets this time!
We tried Dave's for the first time in Gainesville while passing through. I have been wanting to try it since first seeing them in Texas. I would say, if you like chicken tenders and the option to get them extremely hot, this is a great place. If you are looking for options, there really aren't any. Tenders are sizable and a variety of heat options from none to Carolina Reaper. Fries are good too. Typical counter service and a fast food atmosphere so probably not good for an evening out. The food was incredibly delicious! We got the sliders and fries with honey and the Dave's sauce--a classic! You definitely need a lot of napkins though because it's messy. The service was very friendly and quick! The ambiance was nice, but I felt like it could be improved with more personalization. Otherwise, great place to get a bite to eat!

First time here and the cashier was outstanding explaining everything about the food and spice levels . The service was outstanding. The food was great. They have from no spice to reaper flavor chicken. It's a little more money then your other chicken joints. We would come back again. Give it a try for yourself!

Service and quality are excellent. Just a fair warning: they're extra hot is truly hot. I eat Tabasco sauce for breakfast, and the extra hot chicken made me sweat. I can't even imagine what reaper would feel like.

I am not going to lie! I was skeptical at first and I was heartbroken when Burgerfi disappeared. Then, my husband said, "Let's try Dave's chicken." And, I said,"why not?" Bc Dave's hot chicken had taken over the burgerfi location. We love us some spicy chicken!!! So, he went and got a take out with a slider with spice level reaper to calm the heat down and two extra spicy thinking we are eating extra spicy like pros without even sweating and getting a reaper just for a conversation piece.
