Have stayed through Garden City twice and disappointed both times. We were told an elevator worked and given keys only to discover it didn't when two handicap individuals got stuck in it. Manager was rude and stated that the elevator was not operable and refused any type of refund or even an apology! Cleaning needed improvement and the prices were higher than Dunes' Realty. The situation in and of itself was disappointing, but their responses have caused us to switch to Dunes' Realty or other rental companies.

I was turned off a few years ago when we used them & had rented a condo with several things wrong or broken. I decided to try them again this yr since the realty company we've used since the bad experience (& a few years before) had little availability. I called Garden City & again had an unpleasant call. We use Dunes Realty & they're INCREDIBLE. They are more personable. They'll let us pay most of price and then pay remaining upon check in. The people in our condo were well pleased with our experience till it came to parking when you rent it tells you that you will have 2 parking spaces for a 3 bedroom condo not so what you get is 2 little blue tags too hang from your mirror then you have to park either in the ditch beside the road or in the public parking lot s or if you are lucky enough and know someone else that is here you can pa rk at there rental and hitch hike back too your place but be sure not to have them drive there golf cart Thur the parking garage ... read more

It’s been our experience that Surfmaster is one of the strictest condo complexes in regards to parking. It’s surprising to hear that the guard told you anyone could park in the parking garage during the day as long as they're gone before dark. Even our staff must have a sticker or parking pass hang tag prominently displayed in the front window.
