I moved in last part of the summer 2025, I figured to give a good review, GateWay at River City is a Wholesome Community to stay and Immediately feel at home. The place stays clean and maintained well, the food is tasty and warms my heart. Healthcare is organized and punctual. And the activities are abundant and fun. It was great to find a place such as this. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful in getting my brother accepted and placed here. If I have any complaints at all, it's that since he's moved in, it's been extremely hard to contact anyone or get called back. Also, the finance arrangements need to be communicated better between ALL parties. The confusion and number of people involved was almost a disaster. Other than that, it's a fantastic place. My cousin just moved there a month ago, and everyone is very friendly with her. When I mail something to my cousin, I call and Kimberly in the reception desk is always very helpful and kind. It gives my family peace of mind to know that my cousin is in good hands.
My experience with living here at gateway has become an experience for me ihave my own apartment do everything for my self and chores at home by my self i don’t need any cnas to help me except if something happens to me i have had an accident in December 2023 when i fell out out of the wheelchair now i walk all by myself and can run walk all by myself for over a year so this place helps you with therapy to help you to be able to be in good health and physical shape it is a nice place to be and live
From the moment I visited Gateway my gut told me this is where I belong. The staff goes out of their way to make me comfortable and meet my needs. There is no question not answered or dismissed as small as it may seem. It is clear the cook staff makes a caring effort, and it shows in the food’s quality. If your seeking a diverse assissted living community Gateway needs to be at the top of your list.
