Due to “remodeling” they are just throwing people out on the streets. Got money funded but no hotel vouchers given , no assistance with housing or placement as they say in the handbook. The rules only apply when needed and with who they want them to apply to. My sexual identification has been thrown in my face and joked upon many times from staff. Staff Also doesn’t handle situations professionally or correctly. They curse at you , threaten and belittle you. If you are serious about your recovery this is not the place to go.... read more

The place itself is an environment that will help you get your life on track. The Counselors are the best! The life coach is superb and the connect app is something everyone should have that has been through recovery.

Manny, The best place that changed my life after God, You get treated the way Yiu treat others that simple, all support is there if You really serious about stopping using what you using, but if you not ready to stop we'll there is nothing that can make stop using, 5 stars to all staff from Gateway Kedzie House ,thanks to all of You Manny.

I paroled here and was worked like a circus elephant in the kitchen)burning my arms on trays of bacon and such sh!t) under the threat that my parole would be violated. When I returned from prison they said they couldn't help unless I was on parole ( I knew someone from my division in county that didn't go to the joint so I know that was cap)... *only have experience with the kedzie location
