Taught me patience, to forgive myself and others, to be an all around better person, to love myself and others, to never let my guard down and never give up.! Gateway gave me all of these suggestions and I took what works for me and I still got the rest in my toolbox for when I might need them! I am so grateful for the open arms and love I was given multiple times from all Gateway staff! They all showed me direction; and i am still going forward! The app is great and offers so much. This was one of the greatest and much needed experiences of my life. I thank God for the shelter within the midst of my storm at Jacksonville Gateway. The outstanding care and extra effort is really transforming lives, so I commend and appreciate everyone that dedicates their lives to making the lives of suffering people like myself find their purpose. Thank you from all of my heart to ALL who work at Gateway, and may God continue to bless you.
I have been through gateway 3 times and every time I learned something new. Counselors encouraged me and pulled me when needed. Staff was excellent. Good food. Proper nurse and doctor care. Every staff member inspired me and gave me hope. Now I am in sober living and dealing with my life in a proper way. Gateway Jacksonville saved my life and helped me cope with the death of my brother.

I was there for their residential (inpatient) treatment, and I highly recommend it to anyone with substance abuse issues as it is undeniably the gold standard of treatment and recovery education. The building, grounds, and dorms (2 people per room) are immaculate and beautiful. The chefs and the meals they prepare are incredible - you'd be hard pressed to find any better elsewhere (especially if ... read more
My only regret I have about the recovery home at Jacksonville Gateway is that I didn't know about it sooner. I was able to accomplish way more than I expected while I was there. Achieving one goal after another just helped to motivate me to do more. The staff was awesome. From the director to my personal recovery coach to the counselors, they all made my stay a success with their encouragement and resources they offered. I always felt comfortable to be able to approach any of them knowing they would do there best to help me ... read more
