The location in proximity to where I live, how light and bright the facility is, the homey feel. I have zero regrets in choosing Generations. I believe they were the absolute best fit for my mom at that stage of her life.
I feel that my mom is in a safe space and they are looking out for her best interest. When I have had questions or concerns they have been quick to respond and have been very communicative.
Very nice caregivers, mainly [name removed], who is amazing and goes above and beyond for her residents.
Great place with loving staff
The staff have been very supportive. They were very flexible for us, considering the timing of our loved one's entry into the facility with Covid. They very much helped my wife and I out with the transition from his hospital stay to the facility. Obviously under the restrictions and everything they were dealing with, they handled that very well, and communicated very well with phone calls and emails to keep the family in the loop and supported. My husband moved to Generations after being kicked out of another facility for his behavior. Generation welcomed him with open arms, even when I told them about it. Alzheimer’s patients often have bad behavior, but I was told that the staff was well trained and they were sure he would be well cared for. They were absolutely right. He is so content there. I was impressed by the care/concern expressed by the staff. The facility is nice (not too big) and the care level that could be provided is appropriate for our needs.
The person who did the tour was not knowledgeable and did not make a good impression. The rooms were tiny, not homey. The overall feeling was depressing.
