TRUCKER REVIEW: Cleanest way to get here is 110 to BUS 98 W. Pull into dirt lot in front of store facing west so you can back in easily without getting into traffic. They unload with a standard forklift and strap pull, so it can take a little longer. My guys didn't waste any time and had us out within 30 min or so. Everyone was friendly. Hours are 8am-5pm Central Time. Bathroom is available in store during business hours.
Daphne was beyond helpful and the sweetest lady. She helped me find some flooring that had been discontinued. I didn’t spend much but, was treated as if I spent a million dollars. Looking forward to making a bigger purchase with them in the future! Thank you Gene’s Fooling and Daphne!
This company came to my house 2 separate times to measure for installation AND 3 separate time for installation. Then after pushing the install back WEEKS they finally came. They ripped up all of my carpet, but of course could not finish the job because THEY MEASURED INCORRECTLY (once again after coming to measure 2x). Only 1/2 of my upstairs was done and I was left with wood that they ripped carpet from for 3 weeks. I got multiple splinters and nails in my feet throughout those 3 weeks. They came to “repair” our floors weeks ago, but left huge gaps along basically all the walls and kitchen island. I have gone back and forth with them at least a dozen times about fixing it. They finally sent a crew out to fix it all today and they were hours late. Then they said there was nothing they could do and they left. *EDIT responding to owner: This review is in the right place. The last name associated with the attempted repair is Minneman.
A friend had recommended Gene's Flooring to me. I was so impressed by Salvador and his crew, and the speed and professionalism with which they installed the flooring in my home. They were SUPERB, and I could not be more pleased with the result!
