Dr Wahba gave me my life back. It’s been about 3 years since my L5-S1 microdiscectomy surgery. Surgery was absolutely the last option. I was young (36) at the time and was terrified. My life consisted of pain every day for 3 years. I tried it all. Nothing helped. I did NOT do epidurals because it’s very high risk and not FDA approved. I have had two seperate surgeries done by Dr. George Wahba.about two yrs apart. The first was the uppermost part of the spine. The second was continued up the neck. I was in dire pain before the 2nd surgery and loosing a lot of nerve functions, muscle & weight. I was very weak. My Dr did an amazing job on repairing what was broken. I recently had surgery for a severe disc herniation with Dr. Wahba. I was very hesitant to have surgery since I am so young and essentially went to Dr. Wahba for a second opinion. From my first appointment he was very clear with me on what to expect, as well and pros and cons of the surgery. Dr. Wahba and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He thoroughly explained my laminectomy and discectomy, which gave me complete confidence going into surgery.
