I came to Georgia Sky very broken. The staff here is amazing. Caroline, the Nurse Practitioner took care of me right away. Sharon McMillan, the Clinical Director, sat with me for a long time while I was having a severe panic attack. She met with me again when I was struggling. She gives excellent advice on Recovery. This place is great. It’s so convenient for people like myself who have to work and can’t take time off to go to an inpatient treatment. It has successfully helped me get off multiple substance that were going to destroy, or kill me. The structure of having to drive up there every morning was also good for me. Best detox ive been to by far , came in in a state of extreme benzodiazepine withdrawal and was helped out promptly and frankly faster then alot of other detoxes that will make you wait 10 to 20 hours to see a doctor before they will give you any medication. They definitely cater to your individual needs far better than alot of other detoxes ive been to,and ever staff member ive spoken to is kind and will offer any advise if needed.
