NP Dugan is probably the best psychiatrist I've seen. She is easy to talk to and never condescending, which the psychiatrists I'd seen before her were.
Dr. Dugan is extremely caring and kindhearted. I’ve encountered psychiatrists that really show that they don't even care about you, but Dr. Dugan is not one them. She thoroughly explains everything, even medications. I am someone who asks a lot of questions and she takes the time the answer them thoroughly and makes sure I understand everything. The environment she creates is really calm and positive. Highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!!
Zero rating! I'm writing to address complete disregard shown by NP Dugan, it has been difficult for sometime to tolerate for a while ...I tried to be compassionate to possible stressors she may deal with and not experienced coping herself....but as a patient..Her tone. Her assuming personality. Is unacceptable in this field She's shown zero empathy for this treatment. Has lack of empathy. I feel Extremely rushed. Extremely berating me during visit..is a no for me dawg!! . Do not recommend this individual!
Awful. If I could leave negative stars, I would. I went to 2 appointments and spent 7 months battling my insurance company and Community Psychiatry to cover these appointments through EAP (as they said they would before I even went to them). I went to Geraldine Dugan in particular because she says she takes EAP, but after these appointments, decided to charge me hundreds of dollars instead. My visit with Dr. Geraldine Dugan was the worst doctor visit I have ever had. Please do not go here. I had the same experience as one of the people posted above. First I was recommended this clinic, after extension intake I was offered several names. I was guaranteed Dr. Geraldine Dugan would be able to help me by the intake coordinator and because of this recommendation I waited well over a month to see her. This psychiatric nurse took in all my information, and after about an hour, let me know that she couldn't treat me because I was "severe." I never thought of myself as that but I was even more shocked at how quickly this horrible woman dismissed me. On top of all that, she said she would send me some referrals, but I did not receive anything. Incompetent.
