Genuinely the worst internet service and customer support I have ever experienced in my life. I work from home, my complex forces this service provider on us by having it preinstalled in every unit. In the year we gave been here, we have had almost daily issues. No one from the support has ever followed through with sending a tech out (when you can get them to answer the phone. The only reason I switched from Spectrum was because I recently moved to an apartment that contracted with Gigstreem. It’s been truly a worst experience- spent hours on the phone with their customer service reps, as well as having technicians dispatched. Each visit consisted of at least 2 hrs, never reaching a resolution. I work from home and cannot communicate with my team, my meeting drops all the time, and downloading a simple file takes an eternity. My account was created Dec. 29th 2023, signed my lease January 5th, explain that to me and still dont have service. Had to wait a week to get a tech out here and he spend 2hrs and still no service. Called 8 times and they changed my pass word two or three times, none worked. Shoot had me at the wrong address at first. I asked to speak to billing, to be transfered so they can protate my payment once they get my service started. If I could give zero stars I would. I was forced into having this service as my apartment complex switched over or my last service provider was bought out. This service is supposed to be non contractual however I was still charged after having my service canceled and moving out. So many cases have to be filed in order for me to get my money back and the finance department has yet to contact me about my refund. It’s been almost a week now. We have used this terrible service twice once in Bethesda, we had to switch their as well due to drops and now the Commodore in Arlington. Worst ever. I cannot say how poor this company is and how bad the service is, I cannot even ping consistently to my default gateway in the building . Service drops at least 20 times a day since we moved in and opening tickets is worse it’s off shored a new ticket for each call this (non) provider should be run out of town. They should go bankrupt ! Fire them all !!!!!!!!
