Get directionsIf I could give zero stars I would. I was forced into having this service as my apartment complex switched over or my last service provider was bought out. This service is supposed to be non contractual however I was still charged after having my service canceled and moving out. So many cases have to be filed in order for me to get my money back and the finance department has yet to contact me about my refund. It’s been almost a week now. They refuse to connect me to the finance department to speak with them myself. This is ... read more
Genuinely the worst internet service and customer support I have ever experienced in my life. I work from home, my complex forces this service provider on us by having it preinstalled in every unit. In the year we gave been here, we have had almost daily issues. No one from the support has ever followed through with sending a tech out (when you can get them to answer the phone. Which is rare, if ever). The service drops, randomly disconnects devices, forces you to constantly register the same device over and over again. This... read more
The only reason I switched from Spectrum was because I recently moved to an apartment that contracted with Gigstreem. It’s been truly a worst experience- spent hours on the phone with their customer service reps, as well as having technicians dispatched. Each visit consisted of at least 2 hrs, never reaching a resolution. I work from home and cannot communicate with my team, my meeting drops all the time, and downloading a simple file takes an eternity. Don’t sign up with Gigstreem unless unless you absolutely have no choic... read more
Gigstreem is literally the WORST internet service provider I’ve had. The only reason I’m forced to deal with them is because my apartment complex, owned by UDR, made the worst decision by choosing to sign a contract with them (probably to make more money). I work from home sometimes and my apartment is somewhat run as a “smart home.” That said, I rely heavily on WiFi. I’ve only used their service for a couple of months now and there have been at least 2-3 outages in the middle of my work day. How am I supposed to get my work... read more
It appears GigStreem has an agreement now with UDR (and additional corporate managed rental properties) with the goal of “integrating” wifi across an entire building for a streamlined experience. All new residents are required to pay Gigstreem’s internet package fees… It sounds good in theory but I’ve only been in my building for one week and there have been two days of outages. If the other reviews are any indication this will happen again and frequently at that. If the internet did not go out so frequently and when it is a... read more
