Worst experience. I came in coughing up blood ! There was babies crying there was old people that looked in bad shape ! This lady came in walking laughing she looked better than i did ! I know for a fact she came in cause she “fell from the couch” im sure shes a high risk patient cause shes old but im sure nurses shouldnt do this cause all other nusept trying to bring her in a room the lady would get up and walk towards the rooms and the nurse in the waiting room with the computer kept saying “its ok i got her” staff at the... read more
Dr. Giles Simpson at Loyola was a very attentive doctor. He took care of me and my daughter at the emergency department. He listened intently and spoke with respect to how we were feeling. I expressed that I was worried about my daughter in the waiting area and how bad she was feeling and he had her put in a room.
If I could rate no stars I would!! Extremely rude , attitudinal & doesn’t fully listen to his patients. He acts like he is more concerned of someone using the facility for drugs than actually figuring out what is causing the issue , even though they are able to see if you are “using” I don’t haven’t and never will ! He needs a job he likes cause this isn’t the one
When I went to the ER I was bleeding from an open incision. I had surgery on December 22, 2025 and the wound had opened, was bleeding and had soaked through to my coat. After a half hour the admit nurse put dressing on the wound and then I waited almost 2 hours before I was seen and the wound had continued to bleed.
One of the rudest doctors I have yet to meet. I left Loyola to go to another hospital.
