Pleasant stay, nicely remodeled, very clean Not fancy but nicely updated. Our room appeared to have all new windows and the bathroom was very clean with neat tile work. The continental breakfast was in a large, bright room. Waffles were fresh and the coffee was hot. Would've like some protein options, even just yogurt or peanut butter. The location was fairly central with easy access to the hot springs via the shuttle bus which picked up and dropped off directly across the street.
Nice lodging near the Hot Springs Large, comfortable room that appeared to be fairly recently renovated. The only strange thing was that there was no bureau or dresser of any kind - that is, no drawer space. Which made unpacking a week's worth of ski clothes difficult. We lived out of our suitcases. Otherwise, very nice. If you are coming here for the Hot Springs please note - there is a complete reconstruction of the Grand Ave bridge underway which has eliminated most of the parking near the springs (through 2017). I enjoyed my stay! My fiance and I chose this place because it was one of the cheapest in Glenwood springs. We wanted to visit the hot springs pool and needed a place to stay for two nights! Staff was super friendly, the place was quite and VERY clean. I used to work at Hampton inn and suites and I have to say, this place is just as clean, if not cleaner! Comfort and affordability! It was very nice! Very comfortable. Great views of the Mountains. Super nice people. I didn't have waffles for breakfast but there was a staff member there making them for people. I thought that was a plus.
Exceeded my expectations Pros: Entire facility was immaculate Location: Great location. 1/2 mile walk to Amtrak Station. Short walk to Hot Springs Pool. Numerous restaurants within walking distance I have stayed at many hotels in Glenwood Springs, but feel many have become overly emboldened in their pricing. Cozy family-owned inn Family-owned inn was not much from the outside but nice on the inside. Room was spacious and had everything you need. Bathroom was nice but cold since the heater is in the room, not the bathroom. Breakfast is complimentary but does not provide much protein. Lacks eggs, sausage, biscuits. Just basic breakfast. Parking lot fills up quickly after dark. Great location to hot springs, shops. Right off the interstate.
