Glenwood Stay I knew I was in for a surprise when I was handed a "metal key." We only had 2 pillows on the bed and the free breakfast had a lot to be desired. The lady at the desk was nice though.
No breakfast is probably better than this one The location was fine. Our room was OK, especially considering this was about the least expensive motel we could find in Glenwood Springs. However, the breakfast situation was dreadful. Breakfast was a selection of a few jelly pastries, a few muffins, and a drip pot of coffee served in a 6x8 foot area that doubled as the reception area in front of the registration desk. No seats, no tables, no space. No kidding.
Just needed a clean hotel room hot tub was full of mattresses, no ice in ice machine, "continental" breakfast was day old pastries, coffee and a gallon of milk in the office (about 20 square feet of area), tub was not cleaned thoroughly, when I pulled out the washcloths there were long hairs stuck in them. No trim around ALL guest room doors. I could go on... We just needed a hotel that was clean and had "breakfast" - SOO disappointing!
Alright for sleep not for comfort Trash left in room from previous tenet. Used shampoo in bathroom. Smelled like mildue. Lots of towels which was a plus.
Glenwood Motor Inn-Not a lot to offer While the room was clean and comfortable, this hotel was not worth the price you pay. Their 'continental breakfast' is some cold bagels and mini muffins and bad coffee. In addition, when I was checking out, the woman manning the front desk did not speak a word of English. Kinda sketchy Wouldn't recommend this one even for the price. Looked to be long term tenants living in some of the rooms and they all hung out outside with all the doors open. Felt like we were going to be mugged. Room left a lot to be desired. Front desk didn't make us feel welcomed. We won't be staying there again.
Not impressed We were in swimming suitsready to get into hot tub but to out diasappointment was empty except for a plastic liner!!
Glenwood Motor Inn in Glenwood Springs, CO The staff tried to do well, but the room had a bad smell, the toilet didn't work, and there was a mixup on sleeping arrangements for 3, instead of 2. The manager lady supplied a roll-away bed for no additional charge, so that was nice. The toilet needed adjustment at 11 o'clock in the evening, and even after adjustment, it barely flushed. Next time, I'll spend a little more and get a better place.
Avoid this one! The wireless internet did not work and the clerk refused to reset the router. She called her son on the phone who told me it was my computer's problem and that sometimes you have to sit in the parking lot when a lot of people are using it. Air conditioner did not work. Maint. man came to fix at 10 pm and said "I think it's working now but I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe no" I would look for something else where customer service is more important.
