Staff is so nice. Always smiling and helpful when I go in. Their loan department has been very helpful and provided good advice. I like doing banking there, i like the individual attention. I believe they have my best interest in mind, I'm not just another person they are trying to create accounts for to meet some quota. The App works well, and I use it a lot.

I can’t believe how unjustly my father was treated by this bank where he has been a customer for over 20 years with good credit and excellent payment history. Giving him a mortgage rate over 4% in these times of historic lows is unconscionable. Shame on you Glenwood State Bank for taking advantage of him. I will be helping him to refinance and move his business elsewhere as soon as humanly possible. Buyer beware. This financial institution is not to be trusted.
Glenwood State has very helpful staff. They helped build my credit score from nothing to over 800. I moved away from the Alex area but continue to bank here because their app is very user friendly and they are prompt with my online requests.
