The unit itself is the perfect size I needed and the people I was in contact with were excellent, however, I was not shown or able to see the unit until after renting it and there is no way to access it with a dolly because there is a slanted step up. Its sideways on a hill. And, I cannot back up a truck and trailer to the entrance due to lack of room between buildings. I would definately ask to see the unit first, next time. If it were more functionally convenient I would give 5 stars.
Be careful when renting here! Property is not fully fenced and they jack up the prices quite often but do nothing to improve the property that I can see. Also it's not staffed. You walk in the "office" and electronically talk to someone halfway across the country. As Billy Joel sings..."I'm movin' out"....
The storage unit was clean and size was as advertised. They did tell me the advertised price was a promotion price and would increase after 90 days. Wasn't really happy about that but they at least disclosed that at the time. The complex is built on a hillside and a little difficult to access with a large truck but we didn't have that much stuff so not an issue for us.
Excellent customer service!!! The best and friendliest ever!!! I was at this facility when Go store it bought out the previous owners. They had some great people here. (I eventually left lured away by Storage rentals of America by rock bottom prices and the promise of no rate increases for a year and then 10% per year max. They lied) I went around to most other facilities and everyone were for the most part unfriendly and and made promises with ni intention of keeping. Been using Go Store It just 3.months and now a rate increase. $94/mo up to $136/mo. Completely ridiculous!!!!!!
