Asmi is always so friendly and sweet whenever I stop by to grab a bite before work!! The sandwiches here are incredible - big, filling, and packed with fresh ingredients. Every bite is flavorful, and you can really tell they put love into making them :) I always enjoy coming in, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it even better. Highly recommend!
Was passing by and needed a quick bite to eat and found this. First time here. It's a very casual place which is what we were looking for. I created/built my sandwich, which was fine and also ordered Avocado toast, which was not salted at all. However the 1 employee who was working there handed us our sandwiches just wrapped in foil without a plate even though it was obviously to dine in. We saw plates stacked on top of the trash bin on our way out though.
Falasteeni owned cafe! Certified Halal and perfect for suhoor. Came by to grab a morning bev before heading to a conference, and luckily Gold Coast Cafe was close to my hotel. The shop is easily accessible with tons of indoor seating plus personality with their board games, open windows for people watching, and my fave--polaroid wall of the store owner and well-known people like Motaz, Anees, MC Abdul, and Macklemore to name a few. Here you can find the best sandwiches! Fresh, full of flavor and very tasty! I highly recommend this place if you want something fast and delicious to go! I had philly steak sandwiches and was fantastic! The owner of this place Hani is very friendly and kind! Definitely check out their food and medium sized coffee for only 0,99 cents!
Great sandwich shop in Old Town Chicago. First time trying “Dirt Potato Chips”. Yum to Sriracha Honey. Had the Elm Street Sandwich and it didn’t disappoint. Nice comfortable setting. Meat from Boar’s Head so it was a very quality meat. Definitely a good experience and a healthy one for the most part.
