Amazing food and drinks. Bourbon prices are very reasonable here. I highly recommend the radicchio salad and the roasted lamb, these two were stand out for us. The smoke trout dip was great too, just not as good as the others. Surprisingly for someone who doesn’t even like tuna, these two tune dish was amazing and the chili sauce really brought home the flavors.
we stayed in the hotel; so was very convenient. order medium steak, and it was a bit on a rare side, middles was really hard to chew, but it could be specific to golden hour; i just go off the standard. chicken and rice was very delicious though, juice and flavorful. beets starter was great. service was great and atmosphere is modern and cozy.
Went to Golden Hour for a work dinner with a set menu. It was my first time trying cornbread in a restaurant and it was so delicious. It was sweet, slightly burned and caramel-like. Loved our dinner at Golden Hour! Everything was locally infused, with fresh feeling ingredients and Asheville producers. The menu was really interesting and delivered taste wise! The service was great, and everyone we talked with was stoked to chat about the local distilleries or the wine list. Highly recommend when visiting!
Exceptional service and I highly recommend sitting at the bar and conversation with Anderson. Cheerful, delightful and open to suggestion. Surely enjoyed the local cornbread sutle flavors with a touch of savory and sweet. The venison and greens simple and exquisite. Perfect balance greens with bacon and paired well withe cornbread. This was finished with a lavender desert. The suttle flavor of lavender, vanilla and roasted almonds finished the meal. Pair within espresso and the night was complete. Cheers
