Jacob Sessoms somehow always knows how to introduce exactly what you need, plus the things you hadn’t even considered. His most ambitious project yet, Golden Hour, is a feast for the eyes. We are true to our place and focused on the simplicity of quality ingredients and beverages, but here for the fun. Wood-fire flavors, friendly af.

We had an absolutely outstanding dinner here! First of all, the space is gorgeous. Our server, Jay, was just the right combination of attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was INCREDIBLE. We started with crab beignets, none of us had ever had anything like them and we hope they stay on the menu forever. I had the swordfish special and practically scraped my plate clean. My husband had the chicken - same. We sat with friends for quite a while, enjoying the view, as well as the drink menu and dessert. My father is c... read more
Golden Hour is at three same time a place to celebrate everyday life as well as special occasions. The food is top notch, thoughtful and delightfully local. The staff is so sweet but not like a cloying perfume, like a warm hug. The ambience is as imagined, glowing. If you haven’t been to Golden Hour yet, now is the time. 5 stars! And I will be back again and again. Thank you!
The service is fantastic, they do a great brunch, Saturday and Sunday. Dinner never disappoints, I usually do the hanger steak medium rare. They always have Seasonal locally grown veggies and house made breads. We Have done a few private events here each one has been wonderful.
My review of Golden Hour is mixed. I loved it but there were things I didn’t like. The hotel and restaurant are very eclectic and loved the artwork. It is something to see! The restaurant…the food was amazing but our table was slow to order because we didn’t understand how to order. There were a lot of “for the table” choices, a few entrees. It was just laid out kinda confusing. But the highlight of our evening was our server, Jeri! Amazing!!!
A unique place in a unique and artsy hotel. Dined at Golden hour both at dinner and also brunch. Preferred brunch a little more. The seafood beignets are excellent and a popular item. I had them as well as a parfait with date and pineapple 🍍 jam and saint Germain screwdriver. Sat at bar. Bartender was busy but attentive. Appreciate the Easter egg they handed out to customers.
