My mom has been at Golden Merced Care Center since November 2023. I really appreciate all the help they give my mom . She is well attended there 24 hours . That has became my moms home. I'm so thankful for all the staffs working there .

Hello my name is Virginia my father in law is one of your patients I am very concerned. Please please don't let him go back home to the wife have I said many times before she's very violent towards him biggest mistake. You will make. Please don't let the Google rating fool you. My partner was admitted here and did not stay long due to the conditions. The facility felt poorly maintained from the moment we arrived -- the entrance door was broken, the building smelled strongly and unpleasantly, and the rooms showed visible neglect, including holes in the walls. This place is not good. They don't treat sick people well. My husband was there recovering. He fell and hit his head. They never called me to notify

BEWARE the Web site is full of mis-information. Physical Therapy is not what they claim. Long wait after using call button (1-3 hours depending on shift). Understaffed, CNA's over burdened, very high patient to staff ratio. Failed on several occasions to deliver prescribed meds. Wife spent 68 days there for PT, "there is no real physical therapy" The food is worse than hospital chow, pretty bad! The staff doesn't even eat it. Anything nice to say? seemed good at first for my interview to get hired, then I called Nikki to let them know I got another job offer and she didnt even let me finish my sentence interrupting me stating, "okay thanks for calling bye" without letting me finish saying thank you. Just be careful of this place, they seem careless.

My father was unfortunately brought to Golden Merced after a long hospital stay to recover. Upon his arrival, it was apparent that the care this facility provides is subpar. When the medical transport arrived with my father, no one knew what room he was supposed to go into, and when asked, the staff just shrugged and said "I don't know". The medical transport ended up just placing him in whatever room had an open bed. I had to go to the nurses station to ask them about my fathers care plan because no one came in to check him... read more
