Good’s has been in business since 1956. We sell carpet, ceramic tile, vinyl flooring, and hardwood floors the public. We are Decatur’s oldest carpet store and have been family owned and operated since 1956. Currently, the third generation is running the business. Ed and Nancy Good would like to personally invite you into the store to see what Good’s has to offer you and your family.

Goods Flooring is never disappointing! Ed and Nancy always have your best interest at heart. The installers are a great team. Seems the whole store works for the public not just the dollar! 5 stars!
Flooring vinyl and carpeting are adequate. The installers are unprofessional and in experienced , giving off bad vibes while in the home, while speaking ill of the hand that feeds you. The old saying" you get what you pay for "stands true with these installers. That is the sole reason I will not trade with Goods floorings.
We decided to replace or worn out carpet and wanted to support small local businesses. After checking all our local options Goods had a fair price and easy to work with. Having a fairly large L shaped area to be covered, 2 sets of stairs and some entry way work too, Ed assured use everything was no problem. Ed told us the Mohawk carpet had a 100% guarantee not to stain from pets which is why we chose that style (2 dogs). Was told if couldnt be cleaned it would be replaced at no cost.
