My brother is a resident at Grand Villa and I am so happy that he is there. The staff are very cheerful and up beat. They check on him regularly throughout the day and since him memory is poor, give him reminders for meals, etc. While my brother is friendly, he has never enjoyed a lot of group activities. He is invited to attend activities, but not pushed to attend. He feels he is in the best place for him at this point in his life and I am in agreement.

My husband's parents moved into Grand Villa last month. We find the staff to be very caring and helpful. The interior of the facility is sunny and cheery, and the landscaping is quite beautiful. We appreciate the quality of the food and the variety of activities available to residents. Grand Villa is also located in a convenient part of the city, with amenities available within walking distance when we visit our loved ones. I have a long history as a family member with Grand Villa. In 2008, I helped my uncle and aunt relocate to Grand Villa from the Denver area, since they had no children of their own. Then two years later, my parents moved to Grand Villa. As things go with aging, all are gone now, except my mother. Don't put your loved ones here. The administrator will show up to do a care evaluation on your loved one and she will promise you guys the world. NONE of it will be accommodated. Nobody goes the extra mile to make sure things happen there. It's all about the money. It's how many people can the child of a administrator get to move in. It all goes to her pocket. As a staff member the kitchen is extremely dirty and unsanitary. Care staff is not polite to the elderly tenants. They only care about money. Do not let the "religious" aspect fool you.
