If it were possible to give them no stars at all I would. One of my puppies got parvo and was diagnosed at an emergency clinic. I kept my second puppy separated but the vet told me he was probably already infected. I needed a second prescription of antibiotics now. So I called their clinic and the receptionist told me about all these charges about him being seen, then being tested(even though I know he had it). I told her I couldn’t afford to spend that much two days in a row and I just needed the vet to see him to write a p... read more

Wish I could give them a minus score. This clinic is the most uncompassionate animal hospital I have had the unfortunate experience to visit. After a long difficult realization that my elder dog had reached the time to cross rainbow bridge I unfortunately chose this place. They could have not cared any less about the grief I or discomfort my dog was going thru. I was made to wait in the lobby for 20 mins after being told I was a work in when I called 2 days earlier and made and appointment. Then I was made to do a quality of... read more

RIP Molly, may you be free from pain, and enjoy life in doggy heaven. To those that use Grant Ave Pet Hospital. I urge caution, we have used them for years, and we had taken her there to be checked on 3 separate occasions, and after spending hundreds on meds and blood work that did absolutely nothing we went to another vet. She took one look at Molly and said it was one of two things and an xray was needed, and it wasn't good. 2 x rays later and they knew she had the most painful form of bone cancer she could get. The ... read more

I find it very hurtful that after $400 In one week and a dead family dog that you guys basically gave up on because you didn't know what was wrong that you would send me a reminder note for her to get her rabies shot!! Really!!! She's dead remember?

Business response:

I am so very very sorry that you received that reminder. Our reminders were generated and set in motion at the beginning of the month, before she passed away.

Had a friend take her dog there, they told her it would need a $1200 surgery and since she couldn't afford that they had her sign the dog over to them, performed the surgery and gave the dog to an employee. Unethical and heart breaking.

Business response:

Elizabeth, we take great pride in the fact that we will always advocate for our pet patients and work with clients to make sure they are taken care of in their best interest. In this particular case, we have been in communication with the pet’s owner and everything has been resolved successfully. We cannot go into further details for client confidentiality purposes, but we can assure you that everything has been worked out.

After taking our Dog to them the day after Christmas, I have to say the vet we saw was incompetent. $300 dollars for about an hour, no answers, do diagnosis, no nothing. Vet was very rude and arrogant. Don't waste your money or jeopardize your pet.

Business response:

We are sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. We take great pride in offering exceptional veterinary care and feel that we were able to provide that to your dog during their visit. If you wish to review the diagnostics and exam processes again, we would be happy to do so and invite you to give us a call at any time.

Scheduling was off - had to take a day off work for them to tell me they scheduled me for the day after - then they made an appointment for a neuter at 2:00 when I should have been there at 7:30 and after rescheduling again and paying about $700 and not receiving all the medicine etc they had charged me for flea medicine for both dogs and forgot to give them to me I had to call them for them to even realize they didn't put it in the bag and had to drive all the way back across town to re set all the dates over again and when... read more
