I contacted Gravina's to provide a bid for replacing several windows in my home. Jim and Mike Gravina came to my house, measured the windows, and provided us with an estimate for the windows. We told Jim and Mike that we would be receiving one additional estimate and would let them know in a day or so. I contacted Gravina's on 10/28 for a bid and was assured that I would receive a call back in 24-48 hours. I didn't, so I contacted Gravina's early the next week and scheduled a consultation on Friday @ 4:30pm. Mike Gravina called that afternoon and asked if I could meet earlier but I apologized I couldn't meet until our appointment time. He called back 30 minutes before our appointment and canceled. After finding Gravina's Window Center at the Colorado Home Show, my husband and I decided to contact them for a quote to replace the windows in our entire house. Jim and his son arrived 20 minutes late to our house for the appointment. For 1.5 hours we talked about what we were looking for in our replacement windows and Jim took measurements. We give all customers the best estimates we can. We are not able to meet all expectations and for that we apologize. We are a higher end window replacement company in comparison to the other company stated so our prices reflect value and quality installation. We have been in business since 1973 and our track record proves our reputation.
Placed a $3800 deposit on $7600 window installation in late November, 2013. As of March 1, 2014; we don't even have a date set for delivery or installation. Call backs NEVER happen as promised. I don't know if Gravina's is in financial distress, but this has all the signs of such.The windows we ordered were within the standard parameters for Marvin Infinity windows - nothing special. Salesman arrived on time and had a variety of products available. Quote seemed reasonable, but we ended up buying another product from another company (and probably paid way too much). We requested and received a quote for a sliding glass door.

I first contacted Jim Gravina on 8/19/2013 to request a warranty replacement of a defective part on one of the sliding screen doors they had installed for me in June of 2005. He asked me to email a photo of the defective part to him, which I did that day. After two weeks of not hearing anything from them, I called to inquire what was going on and was told the part was on order. Gravina's could do a better job at proactive communications with customers waiting to hear when their job will be scheduled. As the time for starting the job was approaching, I had to contact Gravina's a couple of times to get an update. They should be contacting their customers maybe as far out as two weeks before the work is likely to begin. In January, while Allan was installing my patio door, I took the opportunity to research why my bedroom window was icing up in spite of having a storm window. After removing the window seat, I saw little insulation and Allan took a look and confirmed they could fix it. Meanwhile, Jim and Mike Gravina arrived to check on the patio door installation so I showed them the window and window seat.
