This was my first visit to Great Expressions Dental in Peachtree City, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and professional, from the front desk staff to the dental assistants and the doctor. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, and when I called, the receptionist answered right away with no wait time. If I could give a zero star rating for this establishment, I would. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. Where do I begin. 1. For context, my insurance covers all necessary dental care with a zero cost charge for everything. My initial appointment was for x-rays and a simple cleaning. Somehow ended up getting charged $224 because they failed to explain the extra stuff they wanted to give me and didn’t tell me until after they did stuff that my insurance wouldn’t cover it so I had to pay. I am very impressed, another satisfied customer. I’m here in GA on vacation and my temporary crown came loose and I attempted to rebind it myself and in the process it dropped down the drain so I lost the crown. So I looked around for a dentist that accepted my insurance and was able to get an appointment the next day. Upon arrival I was impressed at the location and the office. Very thorough friendly staff. Recently moved to Georgia and needed a new dentist. This office seemed rated well so I thought we’d give them a chance. First impressions are the staff is so quiet. Not rude or indifferent toward you, just quiet. Once I got back in the chair I immediately noticed how dated the equipment is. You know, the yellowed white plastics kind of dated. Been going here for approximately 23 years. On my last visit, June 2026, they are now charging a fee to use your credit card. However, they can write the fees off that the cc companies charge them as a business expense. This is outrageous! Was told the way around it is to pay cash or use your debit card. Who has that much cash around if you’ve got a serious dental situation going on. I feel sorry for those people. They are taking advantage of the consumer. Time to find a new dentist.
