I started going to Great Expressions in 2018 with my sister for braces, and I always looked forward to my appointments. From choosing band colors to seeing Dr. Kelly Chioffe who is truly amazing the experience was always positive and fun. Her staff has always been friendly, professional, and welcoming. I’ve had horrible customer service at this location, and this third interaction is the final straw. The phone receptionist is consistently unprofessional. I called today because my child’s retainer snapped in half. The first thing she did was put me on hold for almost five minutes without any explanation. When she came back on the line, she asked for my child’s information even though I had already given it. My son was referred to GE by our dentist as he needed to see a pediatric dentist for 2 cavities as it involved baby teeth. Upon getting to GE, everything was fine minus the 40min wait beyond my appointment time but I digress. Upon getting seen, the hygienist told me that the systems were down so they wanted to give my son more X-rays. For context I have given my son one round of X-rays in Sept and another a few weeks ago in prep for this visit and had them emailed. Hands down the worst dental and orthodontist I have ever experienced. Front end staff is unprofessional, rude and petty. Office manager has zero customer retention skills. This business as a whole is very shady, with sneaky and manipulative pricing. If you have any other option, do not bring your kids here!! They make us wait for hours on a regular basis with no explanation or apologies. They are more concerned with corporate profits than the well being of their minor patients and that is pathetic!!
