Was not told anything about chicken farm near by. .05 miles away. The smell is so nasty 🤮 smells occasionally but when it does. It’s the most nasty smell ever. Overall the crew from holt is nice and very good to work with. Amazing people. The home itself is nice too, and the area. But the only thing wasn’t told about the farm nearby, would have not bought the home if I knew the smell. I am currently trying to contact Washington public health over this. Holt as a company is great. Nice floorplans, large lots, lots of design choices and responsive staff. I do wish the garages were a bit bigger (wider and longer). Where they fall down is in their choice of subs (as do most GCs/builders). Some poor quality work such as paint, cabinets and drywall. Nothing that can’t be fixed, but would have been better if it was done right the first time. Holt does respond to the warranty requests in a timely manner, but it takes time and effort on both our part and their part. I guess it is ... read more
What a wonderful community in Ridgefield- my wife (Realtor) and myself (Lender) work with home sellers/buyers and always encourage new construction when the affordability level is there and they have specific needs. Adam Speer assisted with guiding them to the exact home of their dreams ... their "forever" home.
