About this business
Bob Green has been in the flooring industry for 30 years. He began his flooring career installing and finishing gym floors all over the state of Iowa and the midwest. From there he moved into residential and commercial flooring sales in the Des Moines area. He has taken flooring tours and classes all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. In May 2010, he and his wife Jeni opened Green Family Flooring, a Mohawk Color Center, in the historic Beaverdale neighborhood in Des Moines Iowa.

Big thanks for Bob and Jeni Green. Bob and Jeni worked with us promptly to get our floors done in time so we could move into our house and helped us avoid paying both rent/mortgage. The new wood floors are stunning, extremely smooth, and the craftsmanship they put into every detail is evident. Bob put in the extra effort to ensure the technicians followed directions and installed the carpet just like how we wanted. Below I've included their work showing the before and after.
Carpet installation in basement and stairs. Replaced carpet from 1960’s. The workers were friendly. We couldn’t be happier with the new carpet. It looks great.
So incredibly pleased with the work and professionalism of Green Family Flooring. We have a 100 year old home and they made the original floors look brand new. My wife and I were so pleased to find hardwoods under the carpet when we moved in. We knew that this would likely be the last time the floors could be redone, and we are so pleased with the result. I have to include some before and after pictures just to demonstrate how incredible of a job they do. We would recommend them to anyone who asked!
Great company! Owners are there to help. Couldn’t be more happy with the help they provided picking out a carpet for my new remodeled basement.
Can I give them 6 stars? Maybe 7? Their communication and customer service was excellent. They refinished oak hardwood floors in my MCM house for a reasonable price. Most importantly, the new finish holds up!! I foster dogs and accidents are common, but I have not had one stain or discoloration. I could not be happier!
