I called the billing department to explain a mixup with my insurance at the time of the service rendered and asked if they would resubmit the claim with BCBS. After supplying all the information needed I was told that it was never filed and they would do so. The gentleman that helped me was very courteous and helpful and verified my information three times at different times through our conversation to make sure everything was correct. He was very thorough and very friendly. It was a very nice and welcome experience.

My only complaint is that I didn’t like receiving my bill by text message. There are so many scams using texts and no one informed me that my bill would be delivered in this manor. I didn’t trust it to be legitimate.

At this point, I honestly don’t know what else to do. I had services performed through Coastal Radiology Associates, but the billing department recorded my insurance information incorrectly and my birthdate. I received several calls from a collection agency thinking it was a scam. I finally called them back and was told that GSO Radiology had sent my bill in for collection. Of course their insurance department is not in the U.S.. This is the second time they’ve done this, from two separate doctors. I have already updated my insurance months ago, have never received a bill and when I go into my portal it says I don’t owe them anything, balance is $0. This is getting really old and frustrating. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely nice and helpful. Everyone there went out of their way to make me feel at ease and comfortable!
