I had an overall outstanding experience. Matt K (in Kansas City) and Eduardo (in Hayward) handled my order and installation scheduling for a remanufactured battery with excellent customer service and professionalism. On the day of my installation, Eduardo performed the diagnostic on my 2008 Toyota Highlander (~174K miles) and reviewed the results with me. I found Greentec online when my 2010 Prius battery finally gave out. The dealer quoted me $5800 to replace the battery, so I called Greentec. I was able to purchase a refurbished battery through them with a two year warranty for $2000 including the mobile installation fee. Eduardo drove 3 hours to my home and installed the battery for me. He made sure everything was running great before he left. So far, my car has been running like it used to and I haven't had any issues.
Greentec replaced the HV battery on my 2007 Prius with 167k miles. Overall I am very happy with the experience and would definitely use them again if my 2010 Prius battery happens to go out as well. This was my wife's car and despite the higher miles, it held a lot of sentimental value for her. Being the cheap husband I am, I didn't want to spend more than what the car was actually worth (Toyota quoted $3-4k for their replacement battery). GreenTec is a great company with excellent service and products. The corporate customer service team is responsive and professional, plus they don’t pressure clients. I dealt with Eduardo at the Hayward, CA installation site who was a pleasure to work with and runs an efficient operation… highly recommended for hybrid battery replacement.
Came right on time. Did a diagnostics. Showed me what was wrong and how to do minor maintenance to keep the battery life longer. Best part was 3x better price than the dealership. Highly recommend. Installation Tech Eduardo was to the point and professional. 2014 Toyota Prius C.
