It didn't go at all. They said they don't work in this area. I needed a barn steel sided.

Have leaking roof. Called company based on Angie’s List rating and that the listing indicated they operate in my area. Company said they actually don’t, but have a Gridiron Guy at another number who covers my area. Called him and was immediately asked who my insurance company is because recent storm caused lots of roof issues and insurance companies are paying for roof replacement. He promised to call and set up appt to look at our roof and I never heard from him again. Roof Repair
It never happened. I am completely disgusted with the lack of respect they had wasting precious time needed before winter to get my roof repaired. All that they needed to do was tell me from the first call that they weren’t interested in doing any roof repair work rather than have me wait 2 weeks to find excuses not to do the job. I understand it’s a busy time of year, but I believe I deserved an answer. I called, explained my “small job” and wa given a mobile number to send photos and a description for an estimate. I did, and never received an answer. I called this morning and was told that for my small job they wouldn’t be available till spring. I understand that, but would have appreciated , at least a courtesy call explaining that they wouldn’t have time till next spring. The treatment I received was unprofessional, in my opinion. When I requested an appointment with GridIron Guys to get an estimate, I informed the scheduler it was for small vinyl siding repair - in case it was too small for them to do, gave them the opportunity to turn it down. Site visit was performed on 9/17. No estimate was left at my house. One was not emailed to me. No one called to discuss. I waited til Thursday night of that week to contact the office. Gridiron Guys installed a new roof on my home in the late summer of 2016. i am very happy with the roof. With the roof they proposed installing vented soffits for an additional charge but I opted not to do that at the time. Then, in the spring of 2018 I noticed a problem on my roof that I brought to the attention of the company. I was told when someone was in the area they would stop by and fix the problem. They came out to assess the property for a new roof but never contacted me with an estimate. I called several days later and was told that estimates are typically provided a week after the visit. It has been more than a week and still no estimate. I have therefore chosen a different roofer to do the job. I will provide a review for that roofer when the job is completed. Too many complaints to list all. I was told roof would take one day - important to me because I have a very noise-sensitive fearful dog, so I needed to arrange to be gone while work was done. As soon as the crew mgr showed up, he informed me that estimator blew it, it would take two days. Estimator also emphatically explained how important venting was and that the right/best kind be used.
