This turned out okay. I was just expecting more. They were supposed to check the down spouts and they missed one that had a hole in it. I had to point that out and then they fixed it. I was expecting a more thorough inspection and cleaning. Everything with this deal was fair, I was really not that thrilled. I purchased the big deal for a roof inspection, gutter cleaning and tune up.
Well, The roofers did a great job until the end. I have an apple tree in my backyard and they started trowing apples at each other and left the mess for me. They also left so many nails in my yard and landscaping, I could have saved them to do another house. The gutter guy did just fine but it was more expensive than most. He also brought along his whiny teenage son that was constantly complaining that he didn't get enough sleep and was so tired. The deal on Angie's List stated that they would contact me on or before Monday, 7/15 to schedule the job. On 7/17 when I had still not heard from them, a representative from Angie's List said they would contact the company and ask them to set up a time to perform the service. Every thing went well, I have a leak that was hard to find., These guys were great they found the problem right away. They sent out a quote with-in a couple of days. At this point I am waiting to have the work done, but for the initial job of finding the leak I was quite please because others that I tried could not find it. Update as of 10/30/2013: The guys came back out in September to fix the problem and was not able to find the leak. They refunded me $150 of what I paid. It all went well. I purchased a Big Deal for $99.00 for roof inspection with an estimate, whole house gutter cleaning, and tune-up.
Spoke to Bill on the phone about getting some work done on my roof. He said one of his guys would call me back to take a look and write up an estimate, but they never called me back. Repairs to roof as advised by home inspector.
I am not happy overall. They were and continue to be quick with communication and easy to deal with. The quality of their work is lacking. We chose them because they were the cheapest bid, which maybe should have been a sign right there. Work was done as scheduled and they were very fast, completely done in a day. The clean-up was almost no existent. They left a few old T-shirts on the lawn and porch, there was lots of old nails in plain sight in the yard and on the driveway (still find some to this day), a few old shingles ... read more
