Last night I left a very negative review based on a letter I received from Group Five Mgmt Co stating that I was required to pay through September within 14 days of August 4 even though it was not even September yet. Spoke with a representative on the phone today who stated that the letter was just a form letter. I do not owe for September at this time. Do not ever rent or do business with this management company. They are true scam artists, and offer subpar rental properties! Do not waste your time....the rest of the reviews about this company should already tell you what you need to know! I only gave them a one star eating because I didn't have an option to choose zero stars!
The Office Assistants are not on the same page, they each tell you something different. No the back pedal on everything they say and never keep to their word. There are BUG BUG & BUGS!! and their definition of someone "spraying" for bugs is their maintenance man with a can of bug spray from the grocery store. They "cleaned" before we moved in, or maybe wiped down with a wet cloth because nothing was really cleaned when we moved in. I have lived in 4 apartments and this is by far the worse one!!
Literally the worst company ever. I've lived in my apartment for 2 years trying to get something as simple as a new closet door taken care of and they refuse to because it would cost too much..so now I literally have to lift my door back and forth every time I need something in my closet..and they wont move me into another apartment. DO NOT MOVE INTO A BUILDING RUN BY THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE!

HORRIBLE!!!!! Staff is rude and not helpful - they ignore your requests. I have recently been sent a demand for payment for charges I didn't know about and they have been adding outrageous "late" fees every month and not telling me or sending me a thing. Now they want almost enough for a months rent. They are crooked - and their buildings are VERY poorly taken care of. My building is literally falling apart, pretty sure it is NOT safe to live in. This is an absolutely terrible company. The staff is very incompetent and incredibly rude. The properties they own are very poorly taken care of and they “lose” police reports filed against them. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Don't ever work for them. They screwed up my paper work so I had to wait an extra week before getting first check. Had to borrow money to get by as they would only give me $50 from petty cash. I left their employ on June 14 and as of July 13 have not received final paycheck. May have to take legal action.
