My Dad was recently placed here for dialysis. We worked with Michele Lloyd, she was such a blessing to me and my family, especially with me being 5 hours away. The facility was beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. The adjustment for my Dad to be there was great. He enjoyed the facility and all the amazing things they offer. I would recommend this place 100 times over. Especially working with Michele.

The Guggenheimer has been caring for my dad for over six months, and he finally got to go home last weekend. He's received wonderful care while there, and if we have to resort to nursing care again, we won't hesitate to return. The CNAs, nurses, and staff are wonderful and have become like family.

They are beyond short staffed here, it’s crazy! My mother has waited hours for her pain pills, rung multiple times for the bedpan, begged for someone to help with the strange rash she has developed since arriving, watched the meager staff run ragged trying to keep up with the needs of the patients. It’s pathetic. The nurses and therapists they do have are great, they are trying so hard! but it’s not enough to bail this sinking ship. My aunt was here until she passed. Unfortunately, we had no other choice but to place her here. The place is infested with mice and roaches. In fact, they have rodent traps everywhere. I’m terrified of mice and so was my aunt. There was never enough staff to care for the residents. Whenever I visited my aunt was always soaked with urine and feces. I would put the light on to see how long it would take them to respond. It was always over 30 minutes, unless they knew I was there. I don’t recommend this place.

My father was recently admitted in to Guggenheimer for rehab therapy after a fall. The facility was always clean in appearance and smell when I visited. It is conveniently located in the city, right off the expressway which made it easy to visit frequently. Everyone was very friendly as I would consistently be greeted by smiling employees as I walked the halls. The staff were very helpful and informative from the social worker Cristin, to Stephanie the business office manager and Bartlett, the occupational therapist. The ca... read more
