I, as a long distance caregiver, feel so confident about the care my mom is getting at the Wellness Center at Gurwin Assisted living. The doctor there has called me several times to follow up on mom's issues and test results; keeping me in the loop and allowing me to be part of decision making (which overwhelms my mother). The doctor speaks with such care and thought, but also shows patience with me and my questions, and mom and her stories. Gurwin assisted living a a world class facility, Beth was amazing! At a very difficult time with my mom she made the transition seamless. Every single person we came in contact with was great. It is a beautiful place and my family could not be happier to have them care for mom!!
My mother resided at Gurwin Jewish Assisted Living for over 6 years. She passed away recently at age 96 after a long and rewarding life. She made the decision to move back to NY from FL after realizing, that after her leg amputation, she needed to feel safe and be closer to family. My mother has been living here for 8 months, and she loves it! The food is good, the activities are fun, and the staff is excellent. Working with Beth was a terrific experience. She was attentive to my mother's needs and took care of everything. I highly recommend Gurwin Assisted Living!
Had a very nice tour of Gurwin facility in consideration for my elderly parents. Beth was extremely warm and pleasant to deal with which explained all of the different options and services available. Facility was very clean, cozy, spacious and secure. Everyone was so friendly. Lots of amenities and programs to keep seniors busy.
