I was in the Hannah House from February 8th until March 10th. Everyone there is awesome. They literally care about everyone that is in there. Not going to lie the first couple weeks were rough but I survived thanks to the loving staff there. I learned routines and have kept up with them at home. During my stay at Hannah’s house I had my first spiritual experience. I then learned how to live again as a sober woman, and I’m so grateful for that. The staff was so caring and compassionate, they did everything they could to help and support me. I’ve been sober for 5 months now. Hannah’s House is a beautiful, spiritual place. Miracles take place within Hannah’s. Before I arrived there in December 2022, I was hopeless, at my lowest of lows. I’ve been in and out of residential treatment facilities since the age of 16, and I’ve been to 9 or so, in Texas, California, and Illinois. I am celebrating six months in sobriety. This is due in part to Hannah’s House. When I came to Hannah’s House I was scared and confused. The staff was so compassionate and there was no judgement on their part. They pushed me to share myself. As I gain more sobriety I appreciate what they did for me. Also, the recommendation for aftercare and getting me in there quickly have kept me sober. If you are thinking of getting help, do not hesitate to call.
