After moving to Gig Harbor, we wanted to bank local and prefer credit unions. We decided on Harborstone due to other reviews. Due to a self-inflicted problem, the team at Harborstone really made the difference in getting us back on track. Meghan was wonderful to work with. She is very professional and assured us we could resolve this problem together. She guided us and helped get us on track in a matter of days. I’m not sure other credit unions or banks could have been more helpful or efficient.
Bad banking practices. Opened account with auto loan, paid loan off in 1 year. I have 2 CDs here and CC. Auto drafts for auto loan payment were impossible to stop on 3 separate occasions. Worked with the bank manager to close and pay off CC and was given the incorrect amount and no correction to late fees. I have the money but I don't have timento babysit the bank. I would give them 0 if possible.... So many issues through the years but the final straw was the worst. Had my card stolen, called it in 3 times they still never cancelled it or sent out a new card in 2 1/2 weeks, told me I could get a card in bank to find out when I got there they don't do that at the location I said I would go to. Terrible service do not use them
Harborstone Credit Union is the best financial institution I have ever experienced in my 47 years of banking! I've been with them for well over 20 years. The personal attention, the efficiency, and smiles are above and beyond. I love all of my peeps at my Gig Harbor Branch. Thank you, Meghan for your extra time and care this afternoon.
