My father spent several months here before being transferred elsewhere and I'll like to thank so many people that its impossible to name them all. Thank you to pretty much the entire staff on the 2nd and 3rd floors as well as the administrator and social workers. My father was treat with dignity and respect and he made some friends here, staff and residents. I know its an old building but to us, the best quality of care for my father was of most importance and we got that! So thank you Hardisty!!
My mother had been transferred to Hardisty Care Centre after being in the hospital. My first impression of the facility was disappointment after viewing the building. Although the building is showing it's age, it became evident that the staff showed utmost care, kindness and compassion. Both Lillybeth and Parm kept me informed at all times and I was greeted with a smile at each visit. Your warmth and professionalism were very much appreciated. Many thanks to all.
If i could give 0 stars i would. This jail of a so called senior care home will have health care aides neglect the residence with no remorse. Sure some of the staff are good, but my grandma has told me the neglectful health care aides will also tell other staff to ignore her. The only saving angels in the facility are the nurses who always answer my questions when I visit.
This is an old building that seems dark inside. Our friend we were visiting was in a room at the end of a dead end hallway. Everything is old. It seems kind of depressing. I can’t imagine what it must be like living here but it can’t be great. The actual place where the building is nice, it borders a ravine. The areas that I saw were clean.
The past few months my wife has been in the care the staff they have provided excellent care at all levels. The staff is always paying attention to the needs of their charges. Is what i observed..: The staff is alway including me with updates on changing conditions when they happen. The staff is caring in a natural attitude they are very attentive to the needs of my wife.
