My mental health is probably the best it has been in a long long time. I think of my time at Harmony Hills often and thank God that I was able to experience the love warmth and knowledge of everyone. From counselors and psychiatrists, to kitchen and cleaning staff, everyone had a hand in my rehabilitation. I hope I am never again in the position to need the help of Harmony Hills, but if that day comes for myself or a loved one, hands down HH will be my first call. Thank you for everything. This place was life changing. Despite all the things I seen online I still have it a shot and I’m so glad I did. The group therapy was amazing. Amber, Jeff and Tim were amazing teachers and taught me a lot of day to day life skills on how to navigate through my PTSD, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder and ADHD. But it wasn’t just the teachers that made this place what it was. Harmony Hills, I am extremely disappointed in how you handled my daughter’s care. You accepted her as a patient knowing her full medical and mental health history, including her seizure condition. While she was in your program, she was sent to the hospital, and our family was told she was welcome to return and that her bed would be waiting for her. I was admitted to Harmony Hills in Umatilla (Altoona area) for treatment of bipolar I and ADHD, and overall it was a positive experience that helped me a lot—enough for a solid 4 stars. The therapists were outstanding and truly life-changing. Greg Finnie took the time to really listen, Amber Margeson gave me practical tools I still use every day, and Jeff Lowery knew how to push me just the right amount without it ever feeling too hard. I’ve been to many treatment centers in my life, I had two years clean and relapsed so I decided to go to harmony hills to get help. Harmony hills seems to primarily be a more mental health focused facility, while I was there they had some extremely dangerous people that were not getting any consequences for their actions, it had me questioning if they were even being medicated correctly.
